Drilling jars are downhole impact tools designed to transmit controlled axial loads along the drill string. Their primary function is to release stuck pipe by generating an instantaneous impact in the upward or downward direction, thereby overcoming differential sticking, keyseating, or other wellbore restrictions. By integrating jars into the bottom hole assembly, operators minimize the likelihood of fishing operations and maintain drilling continuity.

    Quality and Performance

    Each product is produced from alloy steel forgings subjected to quenching and tempering heat treatment. All load-bearing sections undergo 100% ultrasonic inspection (UT) and magnetic particle inspection (MPI). Functional tests include hydrostatic pressure verification and fatigue cycle testing exceeding 5,000 impact strokes at rated load. Tool joints and mandrels are dimensionally verified for torque capacity and wear resistance.
    With these measures, TAKELO drilling jars provide reliable impact performance in both conventional and HPHT wells, ensuring operational safety and extended service life under demanding drilling conditions.
